Posy joined the team in March after what seemed a long search for a new horse. Eventually we organised a trip to Ireland where we went to a number of yards and saw some very nice horses. We found Posy with Fred Scala who I remembered from his time working with Lucy Wiegersma. Fred is an Irish event rider who now also produces and sells quality horses. Posy had been in a amateur home before being bought and produced by Fred. I would highly recommend him if you are horse hunting in Ireland.

Posy has been prolific show jumping winning over 300 points in 2015 coming 6th in the Bronze league for the South West Region out of nearly a 1,000 horses on the league. She was competed lightly BE doing 3 90’s with 2 4th placings and finishing the season with a solid BE100 run.

In 2016 we will focus more on the eventing looking to establish her at BE100 and then progress to Novice we will also hopefully continue to enjoy some show jumping.
